On the morning of June 6, 1944, 23-year-old Staff Sergeant Arnold “Ray” Lambert stormed ashore with the first wave of the 1st Infantry Division on Omaha Beach. Amid the chaos of German bunkers raking the Colville Draw with deadly fire, Ray a well trained combat medic charged straight into danger. At a small patch of concrete now known as Ray’s Rock, he refused to seek cover and instead dragged wounded men to safety one after another, turning that eight-foot-wide obstacle into a fragile lifeline on a beach where few survived.

Wounded by a bullet in the arm and shrapnel in the leg, Ray never stopped. For hours he treated nearly twenty soldiers behind that rock, then waded back into the surf to pull another from the water only to be crushed when a landing craft dropped its ramp across his back, breaking it and leaving him face-down, drowning. Fellow soldiers hauled his unconscious body to safety and evacuated him off the beach. Already bearing two Silver Stars and three Purple Hearts from Sicily and North Africa, Ray’s war ended on D-Day. He awoke the next day in an English hospital, his wounded brother in the next bed.

Ray Lambert lived to 100, passing in 2021, but his quiet words still echo: “I did what I was called to do.” He embodied the unbreakable American grit that turned the tide on Omaha Beach and secured freedom for generations.

Veterans, your service is not forgotten continue to stand tall, share your stories, and keep the watch. The nation you defended still needs your courage, your leadership, and your example today. Honor Ray and all our brothers by living the call: never quit, never forget, and always answer when duty calls. 🇺🇸🦅

Data Center Moratoriums and Water Rights in Montana are so HOT right now.

People are waking up! 🇺🇸🦅

What are my top 5 concerns about Data Centers in Montana?

Well here you go:

1. Massive Strain on Energy Infrastructure and Provably Higher Costs for Residents.

2. Significant Water Consumption in a Resource-Constrained State.

3. Limited Local Economic Benefits vs. Outsized Costs and Risks (Privatize Profits, Socialize Costs).

4.Protecting our Citizens. Proponents of a moratorium on data centers in Montana have concerns about facilitating mass surveillance and major erosion of constitutional rights and privacy, as exemplified in the NSA spy focused Utah data center amplified by a pattern of extreme secrecy in project planning.

5. Lastly, One additional common citizen concern that resonates deeply in Montana is the irreversible damage to rural character, agricultural land, and quality of life.

People are going to be destroyed.

From a concerned Combat Vet watching the numbers:

No large voting bloc in America wants real spending cuts or fiscal discipline. That message came through clear again tonight with the defeat of Tom Massie.

You will never get fiscal restraints from President Trump or this Congress. I am out on that battle. I said the same thing back during the OBBB fight opposing the “big spend” was a fool’s errand best left to the podcast crowd because there is no systemic change and any leader in Congress that says NO is going to be targeted like Massie.

Congress won’t do it, and President Trump won’t do it either. Look at Elon being run out of DC over DOGE.

The national debt and deficit is going to keep climbing. The trajectory is locked in because the biggest programs and the biggest voter groups all protect their share. That’s the math, plain and simple.

Conservatives and Liberty conservatives:

Time to stop pretending otherwise. Focus energies on what we can control: demand better efficiency and accountability in the dollars that do get spent in federal government, especially on entitlements and discretionary. Cut the waste, protect the mission and our Veterans, and get our own households and communities ready for higher taxes or inflation down the road. It isn’t going anywhere. It’s systemic in America.

That’s where the real work is now. Prepare and protect. The battle over the National Debt, Deficits and Spending is OVER. I am very discouraged with the direction of America and need to focus energies elsewhere. 🇺🇸🦅
