We aim to be the most transparent brand in the world, bar none.

Great news on the home front! We have our 2nd and 3rd samples (different manufacturers) incoming! We started testing rope #1 and found it to be not quite as elastic as we'd hoped and way less durable.

Our process for testing is pretty simple:

1. Use it in the field

2. If it performs well, send it to a 3rd party U.S. testing facility to determine if manufacturer claims are substantiated.

3. Pick a manufacturer that meets/exceedes our expectations and introduce it to the market at an AFFORDABLE price!

That's it. Simple, frugal and working to be the absolute best value/performance in the market.

GOAT Recovery Gear is going to shake things up. We're going places no one else can go. Stay tuned!

If you're new to kinetic ropes, just wanted to give a word of advice on sizing as I've seen a LOT of bad info out there. The rope is sized to your (recovery) vehicle. General rule of thumb is roughly 3X your vehicles' curb weight. For the vast majority of people, a 7/8" rope is the correct size. Going up to a 1" rope, with higher breaking strength, will result in a less-efficient pull. And yes, you can pull out a vehicle heavier than you if you have a properly sized kinetic rope.

We're excited to announce that we're currently developing a new line of recovery gear that can perform at the highest level while being affordable to us average Joe's.

When I started getting into wheelin' I was shocked at the price point for a quality kinetic rope. Then I started looking at other accessories like soft shackles and tree-savers and, before I knew it, I was dropping several hundred dollars. So, I had identified the problem (too expensive) and needed to come up with a solution.

While we're still in the development stage, we're confident we will be bringing GOAT Rope (and accessories) to the market at a truly affordable price. In the meantime, you may catch us out at South Padre Island testing out prototypes while helping get people out of the sand. Stay tuned for some video content as well!
