We attended the 5th Precinct Open House yesterday and had fun! Got to pose with a Sergeant and horse from the MPD Mounted Patrol Unit, speak with some officers (Bomb Squad, Mobile Command and SWAT) and speak with Inspector Todd Loining! Good food, good fun and good people. Thank you Minneapolis Police Department for all the good you do for the community!
The only thing we missed out on is Chief Harteau! Hopefully we'll run into her next year and show her what we are doing to help keep our law enforcement officers safe!
The mental health of our police officers is crucial. Mindfulness will help them reduce stress during confrontation. Do you think that police officers should be required to go through sessions such as this?
