What might be a “frivolous little getaway” to some could be a momentous occasion to others, and that’s one of the many things I love about helping people travel. This is hands down the most idyllic hotel I have personally stayed at in the mainland United States.
The Ojai Valley Inn makes you feel as though you’ve stepped into an Italian dream, and yes, I really mean it! But instead of a 12-hour travel day and centuries old plumbing, you get a 5-star retreat with luxury conveniences just an hour away from Santa Barbara.

I LOVE getting to have fun with decor by adding unexpected accents that bring out a destination’s essence! These clementines were the perfect touch to these beautiful bouquets.

In all seriousness, I recognize that traveling the world is one of the greatest privileges a person can have, and we work so hard for the money that allows us to get out and see it.
Let’s be real: skipping avocado toast or a daily latte isn’t going get you a down payment for a home, but it can get you a lot closer to your dream trip than you might think. I prioritize saving money in other parts of my life so that I can travel regularly.
