"Watch flesh and blood fly until we call for the extinction of men who put their hands where they shouldn’t and don’t take no for an answer."
- Gigi Bella performing Dinosaur
Let’s write a sonnet!
The rules of a sonnet:
1. 14 lines
2. 10 syllables in each line (some contemporary poets even opt out of this)
3. (Optional rhyme scheme, stanza breakdown, etc. if you want to get fancy with it)
You can write about whatever you want, but if you’d like an area of exploration, write about a time something didn’t happen.
Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be bad!
