P3 partners were selected for the 2022 cohort of EY’s Entrepreneurs Access Network, a national business accelerator designed to support Black and Latino entrepreneurs as they transcend barriers and scale their businesses. This transformational experience provided P3 with resources and inspiration that will fuel our future growth.

From P3 projects including the City of Milwaukee’s Business Capacity Building Program and the Greater Milwaukee Committee Greater Milwaukee Committee’s Scale Up Milwaukee initiative, we know firsthand how important entrepreneurial equity is. There are significant disparities in entrepreneurship start-up and success for women and people of color. These differences are due, in part, to significant inequities in accumulated wealth, access to capital, and the development of valuable networks that provide business and support.

We are excited to continue the journey with EAN and are headed to Atlanta for EY’s first ever EAN Spring Summit 2023 in May. Looking forward to connecting with all EAN cohorts for learning and networking. More to come soon!

To celebrate Black history is to celebrate American history, which is why Black History Month shouldn’t be a single month. We challenge you to continue the celebration all year long.

“History has shown us that courage can be contagious, and hope can take on a life of its own.” —Michelle Obama, the first Black first lady of the United States.
