As summer approaches, let’s continue working together to keep our community safe and positive for our young people. A reminder that the City Code of Ordinances includes accountability measures related to ongoing juvenile misconduct.

This is always a last resort. Our focus remains on prevention, engagement, and ensuring our youth have positive opportunities to thrive. Parents and guardians play an important role in helping guide our young people toward success.

Let’s stay proactive, supportive, and committed to safe neighborhoods for everyone.

🍂 Spring Leaf Cleanup – Rake Out by March 15

DPW is offering a one-time spring leaf cleanup opportunity. Residents should rake leaves into the street by Sunday, March 15, leaving a one-foot gap from the curb. The final collection cycle begins Monday, March 16, and no request is needed for leaves raked into the street.

For the first time outside of Project Clean and Green, residents may place leaves in compostable paper lawn bags for curbside collection during this limited period. A Leaf PickUp request must be submitted by March 15 at milwaukee.gov/click4action, the MKEMobileAction app, or by calling 414-286-CITY. Plastic bags will not be collected.

Learn more and track collection progress starting March 16 at milwaukee.gov/leaves.
