In recognition of our next show landing on the same date as the Sapphic Cellar's final show, we're sharing these photos by Ryan Heller from the last time we played our favorite DIY venue. Thanks for hosting us and the countless bands who have played there throughout the years, and also for letting us leave our mark on the wall ๐

Happy birthday, Razor Rain! ๐ Our second singleโthe song from our live set that our drummer makes you jump to alongside our bassistโturns 2 today, and it's making us all introspective about everything we've accomplished since then.
Razor Rain is the second and final single written by and recorded with Don, a founding member of the band. This song was our first attempt at 100% DIY recording and production (well, aside from mastering by Nat Otto, that is). We built a makeshift drum booth in Don's basement and recorded the rest between Don's house and Tera + Tyler's apartment. Fun fact: Don was sick as hell while recording vocals and still killed it within a few takes.
This was also our first attempt at a pretty intensive promo campaign leading up to release, which admittedly didn't perform too well but taught us a lot.
We haven't been playing Razor Rain as much at shows these days, but are happy to dust it off whenever audiences seem down to move around ๐
X-Ray Arcade tonight! Stoked to be joining Charlieboy, Ur Mom, and Heavy Bend for a fun lil night ๐

Here's a glimpse of our last floor show at the venue, which was nearly a year ago already, oh god...

Do you like going to shows at DIY spots? Awesome, we love playing them too! Respect the space and each other or else there won't be any spots left to play.
Hi. Two shows in 2026, two shows with drama. Last night people couldn't figure out how to mosh responsibly and it led to a fight outside. It's really not that hard, if you've got beef with someone you don't use the pit as a weapon against them. Period. If you can't handle that, stay out of our mosh pit, or our house for that matter. Certainly no fighting outside, we don't need that kind of attention here. Maybe let's shoot for an April show with no bull s**t, huh?
