Reading tutoring today had word mapping with Post-It note sound boxes and pumpkin letters. Then we "wrote" cursive letters on geoboards. So much fun!

This class was so fun! I love teaching this to middle schoolers. Light bulbs about creating characters were going off all over! Thanks to for having me!

Fashion camp days 2 & 3: some millinery practice, fabric design and basic hand sewing, paper towel glove project, duct tape and trash bag fashion, a tour of the building, and practice rendering! We've also learned about Coco Chanel and THE (my fav).

Today we also watched a video from the Math @ Work series featuring and highlighting the math in fashion.

Tomorrow they begin to create their designs for Friday's fashion show!

We took the kids to the Arboretum today and it is stunningly beautiful. The girls got to make ice cream in a bag, too! So excited for next week's STEAM camp!
