🍉 Sweet Summer Time 🍉
When I think of summer, I don’t think of beaches or fireworks.
I think of Mississippi.
My dad is from Mississippi, and every summer growing up I spent a couple of weeks there with family. They would head out to the garden, pick fresh watermelons, and set us kids up at the picnic table with a big slice, a knife, and a salt shaker.
We’d make a sticky mess and nobody cared. We were outside, barefoot, surrounded by family, enjoying the simple things that made summer special.
This wreath brought back those memories the moment I started creating it.
❤️ Swipe through to the end to see the childhood memories that inspired this design. That’s me and my little brother in the upper left photo of the collage from one of those Mississippi summers.
Now I have to ask …
Do you put salt 🧂 on your watermelon? 🍉
Apparently that’s perfectly normal in Mississippi, but here in Massachusetts people look at me like I’ve lost my mind! 😂

A slightly slimmer patriotic design with all the red, white, and blue impact ❤️🤍💙
This ribbon wreath was created with a narrower profile, making it a great option for: apartment doors, storm/screen doors, tighter entryways, or anyone who prefers a more streamlined look while still making a statement.
I actually loved experimenting with this style because the thinner ribbons create such fun movement and dimension while keeping the overall design a bit more streamlined.
Perfect for the 4th of July, and especially America’s upcoming 250th celebration. 🇺🇸
