Do essential oils "improve magnesium absorption"?
Not in the simple, direct way most people assume. But they can influence several upstream factors that determine how well magnesium is absorbed and tolerated.
1️⃣ Magnesium absorption depends on transporters + gut environment
In the intestine, magnesium uptake is regulated largely through specific channels/transporters (not just "more stomach acid = more absorption"). Two key gatekeepers are TRPM6/TRPM7, which help move Mg²⁺ across intestinal cells.
So when we talk about "absorption", we’re really talking about the function of the intestinal lining, motility, inflammation, and the overall digestive context - all of which can change magnesium tolerance and effective uptake.
2️⃣ Some essential oil constituents may support digestion and motility
For example, peppermint oil / menthol has documented effects on gastrointestinal motility and gastric emptying in human studies - one reason it’s used in functional GI contexts. Better motility and less spasm doesn’t automatically mean "more magnesium absorbed", but it can mean better tolerance and consistency for people who stop magnesium because of GI discomfort.
3️⃣ Intestinal barrier + inflammation matter for nutrient handling
Preclinical research (mostly animal and lab models) suggests compounds commonly found in essential oils - like thymol and carvacrol - can influence intestinal integrity, oxidative stress, inflammation, and microbiota patterns.
Again: this is not proof of higher magnesium absorption in humans, but it supports a plausible "gut-support" pathway that could indirectly affect nutrient utilization.
What we can say confidently ➡️ essential oils (or their constituents) may support digestive function and gut environment - factors that influence magnesium tolerance and consistency of intake, and potentially the context in which absorption occurs.

The market is once again chasing fast results. This time through peptides.
Yes, peptides are gaining massive popularity: focus, concentration, weight loss, recovery, “biohacking.”
But there is an important point that is now being discussed more openly:
👉 many of these substances are poorly regulated, insufficiently studied, and carry real safety risks.
The FDA has already issued clear warnings.
And this raises a critical question:
"Do we really need gray-market, invasive, and unpredictable solutions to improve focus, energy, and metabolism?"
There is a smarter and safer approach 👇
Focus, mental clarity, and weight regulation are not the result of a “magic molecule.”
They are the outcome of nervous system balance, mitochondrial function, hormonal signaling, and inflammation control.
This is exactly where essential oils work systemically rather than aggressively.
🔹 They act through the olfactory system, directly influencing the limbic brain
🔹 Help regulate the stress response and cortisol levels
🔹 Support insulin sensitivity and metabolic signaling
🔹 Influence appetite, cravings, and emotional eating
🔹 Improve sleep — and without sleep, neither focus nor weight balance is possible
No injections. No gray markets. No unpredictable side effects.
But this distinction matters❗ Not all essential oils are created equal. Most oils on the market are: diluted, oxidized, synthetically altered, unsuitable for systemic, long-term use
When the goal is supporting the brain, hormones, and metabolism,
only the highest-purity, clinically tested oils are appropriate.
That is why I work exclusively with doTERRA.
✔ strict sourcing standards
✔ batch-by-batch testing
✔ therapeutic-grade purity
✔ scientific validation
✔ safety for long-term use
The future is not extreme.
The future belongs to regulation, not stimulation.
To support, not override physiology.
To solutions that respect how the human body is designed.
Sometimes the most advanced strategy is not a new compound, but a deeper understanding of how intelligently the body already works.
If you’re interested in improving focus, energy, and metabolic balance
without risk or extremes, I’m always open to a conversation.

Natural medicine is no longer “alternative.”
It is becoming essential.
We are witnessing a clear shift in global healthcare.
More people are asking better questions:
- How do I stay healthy, not just treat symptoms?
- How do I support my body before it breaks down?
- How do I integrate health into a busy, modern life realistically?
This is exactly why natural, evidence-based medicine is taking a strong and steadily growing position in healthcare today.
Natural health is possible.
Supporting the body through natural medicine is accessible.
And most importantly, it is simple to integrate into real life.
It doesn’t require radical lifestyle changes.
It doesn’t demand medical degrees or endless research.
It works with the body, not against it.
In most cases, it starts with awareness
and with allowing yourself to look in this direction.
The key is not knowing everything.
The key is having the right guide - a professional who understands both science and natural approaches, who can translate complexity into clear, personalized steps.
Natural medicine today is:
• preventive
• supportive
• intelligent
• practical
• and deeply aligned with modern life
This is not about choosing “natural instead of medicine.”
It’s about choosing natural medicine as a foundation for long-term health, resilience, and quality of life.
And this is only the beginning of a much bigger conversation. Agree?

Hello and welcome! Let’s get acquainted.
My name is Elena Sazontova. I am a PhD in Natural Medicine, a health and wellness coach. Natural health has been my passion for several decades, and since 2011 it has been the work I dedicate myself to every single day.
I help people reconnect with their bodies, identify the root causes behind physical discomfort and illness, understand what pain and symptoms are trying to communicate, and restore balance so the body can begin healing itself naturally.
I work with people who are undergoing conventional medical treatment, supporting them alongside their physicians to aid recovery. I also work with those who choose to rely exclusively on natural methods for restoring, maintaining, and preventing health issues.
Unfortunately, modern conventional medicine often overlooks a crucial area - nutrition and natural medicine - focusing primarily on treating existing symptoms rather than prevention. This is where my work comes in: prevention, balance, and supporting the body’s natural ability to heal.
Beyond my professional life, I have a beautiful family. I’ve been married for 16 years and am a mother of three sons. I love movement and gentle forms of exercise such as yoga, Pilates, and barre. I’m passionate about travel and deeply believe that traveling helps both us and our children grow. Travel is like a small lifetime - it can shift our perspective, reshape our thinking, and make us more open, aware, and enriched.
I’m very glad you found your way to this page, and I would be truly happy to support you in the goals and challenges you’re looking to address.
