The Blueprint (Indigo Wing & A Poem Full of Corpses
Medium: Porcelain Ceramic
Dimensions: 22 - 24 Diameter
Year: 2024
“The Blueprint (Indigo Wing & A Poem Full of Corpses)” is a reflection on humanity’s impact on nature, exploring the fragile balance between creation and destruction. The indigo wing, a symbol of beauty trapped in a blueprint, represents nature constrained by human ambition. The “Poem Full of Corpses” mourns the silent losses of environmental exploitation. Inspired by South Florida’s climate crisis, this piece calls for a reimagining of our relationship with the Earth—a shift from destruction to regeneration.

I’m incredibly humbled to have “Infinite Love Mug” featured in 2021 Fall Issue.
Haitian-American ceramic artist Morel Doucet is the creator of an artisanal line of serve-ware that includes these charming ceramic mugs. The youthful colors and the modern, graphic simplicity of the heart shaped handle design offer a poignant ode to love.
