I decided that 3 hours outdoors isn't good for cupcakes. So instead I made Baklava, cookies and gluten free/vegan chocolate chip cookie dough squares. So come get some! I'll be at The Lab Miami in Wynwood from 3-7pm!

These were an experiment. I usually stay far FAR away from gluten free or vegan or any such nonsense 😉. We do the real deal here at Meli Bakes. However for special ppl I will make exceptions. These are just something I was playing around with that ended up working out very nicely. Gluten free AND vegan. They're pumpkin cupcakes with chocolate frosting. I made sure the cupcakes were delicious enough to eat without frosting. And I ate about 6 of them so that should tell you something. Then I added the frosting. STOP the car, get out on the 836, walk over to the passenger side and slap yo mama because the frosting is THAT good. Benji got a taste then grabbed a little chair and sat it right next to the counter and said "more delicious chocolate please". Needless to say we cleaned the bowl. These cupcakes make me think the world of gluten free/ vegan doesn't have to be depressing.

When you take extra steps to make sure things are delicious, it makes a difference. If it's not delicious, it's not worth it!!💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

It's November. Time to start looking for pumpkin recipes to try this year. Let the experimentations begin!!
