The Everglades isn’t just a national treasure. It’s one of the most important ecosystems on the planet, and it’s right here in our backyard.
A few wild facts:
▪️ Covers approximately 1.5 million acres, making it the largest subtropical wilderness in the U.S.
▪️ Known as the “River of Grass” because water slowly flows across nearly 100 miles of landscape.
▪️ The only place in the world where alligators and crocodiles naturally coexist.
▪️ Home to the largest mangrove ecosystem in the Western Hemisphere.
▪️ More than 360 species of birds depend on the Everglades.

Florida’s “off-season” is not what it used to be.
Florida welcomed a record 34.4M visitors in Q2 2025 alone, marking the highest second-quarter tourism numbers in state history. Annual tourism surpassed 143M visitors for another all-time record. Miami-Dade hotels also ranked among the highest hotel occupancies in the country through July 2025.
Historically, summer was considered Florida’s slower season once snowbirds headed north. Today, remote work, flexible living, and continued population growth are keeping more people in Florida deeper into June and July.
People aren’t just buying homes in Florida. They’re buying access to a lifestyle that feels like vacation year round.
From biking and boating, to paddle-boarding and golf, pickleball, beach walks, and sunset cruises, outdoor living is part of what makes Florida real estate so desirable.
That demand continues to shape the South Florida market as buyers prioritize sunshine, walkability, wellness, and water access more than ever.
