“This ride had it all! Started in 50 degree rain. The climbs were fun & difficult! The descents were quite sketchy at times and fast! The Georgia clay was slippery, pasty & slick all at once. My chain dropped a couple of times. I rode hard and did what what I was capable of for today.

Stayed upright & had a blast! At one point during the sketchiest descent I yelled out loud- “focus damn it!” At another point I told a 20 something year old guy sitting on my wheel as we went down the down the mountain…. “I’m sorry to be riding like 50 year old with 2 kids and a wife waiting at home, but that’s pretty much what I am”
