Amanda Hanson - Midlife Muse
07/09/2026
Somewhere in the middle of building a beautiful life for everyone else, you completely lost the thread of your own.
And it happened so gradually, you barely noticed it. You became the mother, the wife, the one who holds everything together, and slowly, the woman underneath all of those roles stopped getting any attention.
Her desires went unmet. Her voice went unheard. Her story went untold. And eventually she stopped knocking.
My work is about finding her again.
Not the version of you that everyone else needs. The one that existed before you learned that your worth was measured by how much you gave and how little you asked for. The woman with something to say, something to create, something to offer the world that has nothing to do with anyone elseâs needs.
She is still in there. And it is never too late to give her the life she has been waiting for.

Back on the streets of NYC and I asked women âWhat have you finally stopped apologizing for?â
Their answers are sooo good!
If I asked you this questionâŚwhat would you say?
Tell me below. I want to hear your answer!
I am fascinated by the majesty of old trees.
Gnarled. Bent in places that used to be straight. Bark thatâs cracked from probably a hundred years of weather it never asked for.
And nobody stands there judging it.
Nobody says âugh, it would be so much prettier young and smooth again.â Nobody says it grew wrong.
We just stand there. In awe. Hand on the bark. Something ancient settling in our chest.
And I couldnât stop thinking, why donât we get that.
Why does a tree get three hundred years of reverence for every crack and every bend, and a woman gets a magnifying glass the second her body starts telling the truth about her life.
Iâve been talking about this one for years.
What if we let ourselves be witnessed the way we witness that tree.
Not measured against who we used to be. Not picked apart for the softness, the lines, the way our bodies rearranged themselves to hold everything weâve lived.
Just honored. For what it took to still be standing.
That treeâs roots go so much deeper than anyone can see.
So do ours.
We are not aging wrong, my love. Weâre becoming ancient and magnificent, the exact same way that tree did.
You can decide to reframe the inner judgement to âLook how fully I allowed myself to grow.â

You have an idea you have been sitting on for years.
You keep telling yourself you will start when the fear goes away. When the time is right. When you feel ready. When you know more.
What if none of that ever has to be true before you begin?
In this episode, Marie Forleo ⢠Entrepreneur breaks down exactly what it looks like to begin before you are ready, trust yourself before you have proof, and keep going when everything falls apart anyway.
