Ms. Jessica is Back

Let me reintroduce myself…

If you’ve been following me for a while, you already know that I was a National Board Certified (NBCT) early childhood teacher for 9 years before going back to school for another Master’s degree.

I’ve been a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for over 10 years and my private practice turns 5 this July.

Those are essentially my qualifications, but they don’t tell you much about who I am as a therapist.

🌟 Hiring me is like hiring a built in cheerleader 📣 for your child who will advocate for them as if they were mine. I love BIG, and the littles I work with feel it.

🌟 I’m all about play-based & child-led therapy, and from the moment we meet, I will likely become one of your child’s favorite people.

🌟 If your child is a Gestalt Language Processor (GLP), I will do everything I can to support them & your family because there just aren’t enough NLA trained clinicians out there & this is one of my passions.

🌟 I’m a relationship-based human and therapist who thrives on collaboration and truly knowing your child & family.

🌟 Hiring me or my team sometimes feels like hiring a quasi family member. We care A LOT around here, and it shows.

🌟 If you’re looking for traditional table-top activities, .up.learning is not for you.

🌟 I view the world through a sensory-informed lens. Is everything sensory-related? No. But, that’s the first place my brain goes when someone tells me their child exhibits “behaviors.”
