BALL FOR US has partnered with nonprofit Reach Back Skills Development Inc. to offer a live, 5-week "Online Carpentry Pre-Apprenticeship Program" for free to U.S. veterans and disadvantaged youth (low-income, homeless/foster, disabled), ages 15 and over. This transformative workforce development program teaches students practical and professional carpentry skills, from soft skills to tool usage and job safety, preparing them for apprenticeships and sustainable careers in the local construction industry.

This transformative workforce development program addresses the shortage of skilled tradespeople nationwide while equipping U.S. veterans and underserved youth with practical and professional construction skills. Students learn real-world information online, preparing them for long-term, sustainable careers in carpentry while contributing to their communities. 🔨

The mission of BFU is to educate underserved youth in low-income communities – including homeless and foster children, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities – about the mental, physical, and emotional health benefits of exercise by hosting sports camps and educational events. Ball For Us, Inc. is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.
