Arizona Haiku Poetry Contest

Haiku Submission Deadline: February 9th

The Arizona Matsuri and the City of Phoenix will hold its 36th Annual Festival of Japan on February 22-23, 2020. This two-day free event celebrates the unique culture of Japan, its arts, music, dance, food and much more at a new and much larger location Steele Indian School Park in central Phoenix.

We invite students and adults of all ages across our State to participate in the festival and the 6th annual Haiku Poetry Expo, a free event for all to share your own Arizona inspired haiku poetry.

Several Outstanding and Honorable mention winners across six categories will be published on our website and on display during the festival.
