Took down my exhibit ‘Remnants of Languge’ over the weekend, my heart is so full 💛

With this show, I’ve watched the work take on a life and meaning far beyond myself, and that has been the greatest gift. Hearing people say “thank you for sharing your story,” and seeing space open up for conversations around loss, learning challenges, and what it means to truly be seen… that’s something I’ll carry with me forever.

There are so many people to thank, it’s hard to know where to begin. To my friends and family who showed up in every way, especially the heavy lifting, thank you. Penny, for believing in my vision and allowing me to push beyond the gallery walls. Benjamen and Hannah, for helping bring it all to life, from Zoom calls to lighting. Robin and Daniel at Symmetry, for the incredible design that shaped the experience. Heather, for creating such thoughtful and engaging moments with students. And the MAX staff, for your support, care, and collaboration throughout.

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share this work, especially in Mississippi. Watching it resonate, particularly with students, has meant more than I can put into words
