What to do instead?
Love yourself today. Even if it is the smallest of acknowledgments. Practice daily self -love.
Otherwise the endless tomorrows of effort will never be enough and even if we achieve our initial change it won’t be enough because most likely the mark to be something else something more will have moved and outweigh the idea that today I love myself and my efforts.

How will you slow down this week?
Is anyone else concerned we are entering the 3rd week of January but still trying to process what happened during the holidays?
If life feels too fast, take small steps to help become more aware, more present, more intentional.
Here are a few quick and easy ideas.
1️⃣two minutes of deep breathing
2️⃣brisk walk outside especially if you have been staring at a screen for a while
3️⃣have a heartfelt conversation with someone
4️⃣ plan for some downtime. No serious go out it in all your calendars right now.
5️⃣Smile and offer gratitude for blessings

Courage Challenge Week 44: Courage to be grateful.
What if I told you that learning how to be more grateful was one of the major keys to my success in finding happiness and peace within myself. Yes diet and exercise are important and I do strive to keep those habits in check. But without gratitude my ability to maintain those meaningful habits lose their impact. You see diet and exercise can sometimes cause us to wait to love ourselves. Let’s say you have a goal to lose 10 pounds. In and of itself, losing 10 pounds is not a bad thing. But if you hear yourself saying I will finally love myself when…or others will notice me better when…
My friends, WHEN needs to be right now! Self-love, gratitude for an amazing body needs to start today. Your body will perform better in exercises you will feel more energized to keep your healthy eating habits when connected to gratitude.
If you haven’t said something nice about your body in a while, start today start right now. What is one thing you can be grateful for about your body? “Nothing” is not an acceptable answer. :)
