Walking the same land my family has held for over 100 years hit different. Every step felt like memory, like legacy, like a quiet reminder that we come from something real. We foraged, we hiked, we talked about where we’ve been and where we’re going—and the importance of keeping that connection alive.

There’s power in knowing your roots. There’s peace in returning to them.

Soon, we won’t just be visiting… we’ll be building. Creating a home right here on soil that already knows our name. What once was history is becoming our future.

And just like that, my Memphis man will be a Mississippi resident 🤎
