Students took their welding skills to the next level by learning how to cut a bevel using a propane track torch—an essential technique for precision metalwork in the field.

Hands-on learning in action:

Our Industrial Electricity and Plant Maintenance (IEPM) students recently took on a real-world challenge in the machining shop - diagnosing and repairing a faulty connection beneath the concrete floor of the horizontal bandsaw.

They located the issue, excavated the area, made the repair, and then patched the concrete - start to finish.

A perfect example of the versatility required to succeed as a maintenance technician.

At Moore Tech, students train to solve problems, not just memorize them.
