Seth Rider Triathlete

Happy with the race I executed today at Gulf Coast, maybe my best middle distance race so far.

Day didn’t get off to a great start when the swim was shortened to ~600m due to “un safe conditions” that looked about as wavy as the Girona pool on a busy morning.

Bike was crazy fast with nice conditions and a totally flat course, apparently the third fastest 70.3 bike of all time. Spent the second half of the ride suffering behind trying to keep him in sight. Got gapped a bit towards the end and pretty much stayed 20-30 sec back until the last mile of the run. Really nice battle out there with Sam!
