Facial Balancing. This patient came in wanting to look like a refreshed version of herself. With little bits of filler here and there we were able to achieve just that. It’s the smallest tweaks that make the biggest difference.

Areas treated:

· Midface
· Pyriform/Nasolabial folds
· Chin/chin shadows
· Prejowl sulcus (hollowing in front of the jowls)
· Non-surgical Nose Job

Nose, Lips, Chin. My favorite profile balancing trio. This patient was most concerned with her profile view while also wanting a subtle lip enhancement.
By treating the nose we were able to camouflage the hump and lift the tip. We added natural chin projection while still remaining feminine. Lip focus was on creating a very subtle projection and hydration. By treating these areas in combination we were able to achieve a more seamless profile view.
At her next session we plan to treat the midface and temples for more structural support.

First time lips. Lips should always look natural both at rest and with movement. Proper product selection and placement is crucial for this. It is so important to do a thorough evaluation of the lips, discuss patient goals and expectations and create a plan moving forward. Each pair of lips are unique and come with different challenges and ultimately a different treatment plan. There is no one size fits all approach.

This patient for instance had a beautiful lip shape to start. She lacked definition and volume in the body of the upper lip. Her upper lip also had a very prominent white roll creating a visual ledge at the border prior to even injecting. It was really important to focus the upper lip filler to the body of the lip while avoiding placement at the border to prevent the ledge from becoming more prominent creating unwanted projection and a ducky appearance. The bottom lip was slightly flattened in the center and lacked hydration. So for the bottom lip we needed to focus the filler placement in the center to create a more rounded and feminine appearance with conservative soft filler placement along the border for more definition and hydration in the parts that were lacking.

Filler should always be placed with intent. Focus should not be on quantity of product but on overall result. This is how we maintain natural results.
