I am Doug Overton, a family man who believes in work ethic and respect for others. My life experiences have taught me many values that I hope to reflect in our community.

• I have owned 5 businesses over the years and worked internationally in Saudi Arabia and at Colowyo. This has taught me how to work with diversity in communities and respect for others.

• My involvement with the community through the fire department has shown me the needs of the people and how to manage a crew under pressure.

• Growing up in Rio Blanco County, I was raised to respect and have a love for the outdoors, from just enjoying being outside to all forms of outdoor recreation.

My years of experience have shown me what is important to the community and how to best unify the county.
