Lat year we found a sax for our buddy Mary Claire (and that's a whole story) This week Mary Claire and her amazing family met us in Seville, OH after a soccer game to gift us two beautiful clarinets, one of which was a 100 year-old "three star" silver clarinet..

We just LOVE you guys and....because we're all on the same team....GO IRISH!

Finally got to meet the amazing songwriter, artist, actress, cat-lover, pianist, SFX guru and PhD Horticultural Scientist, the one and only Mags Armor of Tues@7 fame! What a ball of fire and sweet, sweet soul.

Mags donated 2 gorgeous instruments...a super nice hybrid Yamaha Guitalele and a high-end High Tide Koa Concert Ukulele w/Preamp. Mags, you are the very best. Thanks for being the magnificent YOU that you are!

DELIVERED this beautiful Yamaha clarinet today. Charlie is a talented Rittman MS band student who needed a fine clarinet for High School marching band. It was great to meet her and her whole family (including Mimi). They donated a fine Armstrong flute to the cause. Thank you guys! Many happy years of playing, Charlie!

People often ask if we play instruments ourselves at WRIRA...

Well, we do have to play a little on every instrument to make sure they're in good shape for adoption but here's a pic of our head professor, Doc, (and his mom) from 1972 in the Highland band with his boss baritone! And yes, he still t***s it from time to time.
