✨ Meet Mardin Josué Acevedo ✨

Mardin graduated from Instituto Vida Abundante in 2021 with a concentration in Accounting and Finance. He is currently in his fourth and final year of Information Technology Engineering (Systems Engineering) at José Cecilio del Valle University (UJCV) and is just seven courses away from completing his degree.

Mardin shared that his time at IVA left a lasting impact on his life. Being part of a community that embraced him, believed in him, and encouraged him helped shape the person he is today. “Above all, I thank God for every opportunity He has placed in my path,” he says.

As a scholarship recipient, Mardin recognizes the profound impact this support has had on his education and is deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue pursuing his dreams.

In September, he will begin his professional internship with PUMA Energy Honduras, an achievement that represents another step toward the goals he has set for himself.

But his greatest dream extends beyond earning a university degree. Mardin hopes to gain international work experience and then return home to contribute to the technological development of Puerto Lempira with an innovative vision and a genuine desire to serve his community.

His story reminds us that education opens doors, but it is faith, hard work, and determination that give us the courage to walk through them. We are proud of Mardin and excited to see all that he will accomplish in the years ahead. 💙🌱
