the man leans over a sharp cliff intentionally dropping three cups into the river leaving two atop the cliff. The two that remain bubble happily glad to not share the same fate as their brethren. For the three that vexed him it wasn't enough to empty their contents but he had shed himself of their vessels entirely. This card is about growing apart from those you were once close to while it can be painfull sometimes severing ties entirely is the only way to move forward with life like pruning a bonsai to shape your growth sometimes it's necessary to remove a branch here and there.
