Sometimes my just winging it gets me into real trouble.....
This is why you should test fire your new to me kiln before just throwing work in it.
Atleast my chickens came out well for the county fair!

Well this chicken is off to the county fair.
Everything else in my kiln haul had some issue. It happens with a new to me kiln and lack of testing. Some are fixable, some will get trashed. Thats the way the pottery crumbles some days.
First kiln haul. This is just a bisque fire, but fingers crossed they will be glazed fired by tomorrow afternoon so I have a county fair entry.

These mushroom ladies are some of my favorite. I finally made new stencils that makes adding them so much easier. So this vase will be the first of many peices of mushroom ladies.
