Featured item......found these fantastic vintage oak legs at a junk day parking lot sale.......retrofitted to this elliptical drop leaf table.......one persons trash is another persons treasure!

Featured this week is another Almost Original Design with this fantastic drop leaf elliptical shaped console table. This piece is from a Queen Ann coffee table and some very old and beautiful oak turned legs with a hint of old paint in the grain where they had once been painted. The design plan was to paint these legs to match the rich chocolate color the top and skirt have been painted, but they were just too beautiful with the strong oak grain, we decided to preserve that character and clean them up and poly coat. Love the elliptical shape of this table, and the drop leaf design adds both style and functionality. This table would make a fantastic addition behind a sofa, in an entry hall or just about any place adding richness and elegance to your home or business.

Featured this week is yet another Almost Original Design high quality upcycled item in this vintage door and tall console table combined into this beautiful hall tree. It is painted a rich charcoal color accented with black hardware, crystal k***s, an oak framed beveled mirror and last but not least a repurposed vintage desk drawer mounted below the mirror as a handy place to throw your keys or simply admire its beauty!
