Impact Windshield

So I go to my grandson’s basketball game, and one of the refs is my high school buddy from CGUHS, Randy Robbins. Little did these kids know one of their refs played in three Super Bowls (Denver Broncos). Randy is so humble, no one would ever know so I had to tell the kids haha. While talking, he pulls out a shirt I gave him a few years ago! Way to represent!

2020 F150 Platinum. Windshield hardware: ADAS camera, rain sensor, heated wiper park, acoustic innerlayer. The first thing to do is verify that the new part is a match. Prescan before windshield removal to verify no fault codes associated with camera imaging module. Replace windshield, initiate calibration (dynamic calibration, meaning vehicle is in motion down well-marked highway with tablet assisting). Once completed, road test to verify function. I was delayed by rain before I could calibrate. Yes, cameras work during rain but when placed in diagnostic mode, rain can prevent calibration. Just a different function while in diagnostic mode.
