A few years ago the pup on the right passed away. I've been wanting to make this painting ever since, but just couldn't seem to find the time. Earlier this year, I was told the family was moving to another state which meant I would no longer care for the pup on the left.

Finding this out, I knew I had to make the time to finally paint this portrait. And now that the family has it, I can share it with the world.

A few months ago, I was approached to make a very unique and most likely challenging project for a friend. I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into, but I'm always up for a challenge and helping out a friend, so I said yes.

Many hours, broken needles, plan changes, and cuts to my fingers later, the final product was well worth it.

Never in my life did I think I would ever say I made a grass jacket.
