Just another day at the shop.

A customer brought in a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 saying it no longer gets cell service. We checked it in and began troubleshooting.

As soon as I removed the back cover, the issue was obvious—someone had previously worked on the phone and removed all of the internal antennas.

No antennas = no signal. That’s exactly why the phone wasn’t working.

Moral of the story: not all repairs are done right the first time. If your phone suddenly loses service, it’s not always the carrier—it could be what’s inside.
