📣 While we are working on our 2nd annual walk to defend.. we will be sharing important events and information from our friends at Saprea.
Up frist, the Saprea Healing Webinar!
For the past year Saprea has been working hard to develop an at-home educational experience for survivors who aren't currently able to attend the Saprea Retreat or want to access our resources in a different way.
Designed to help jumpstart your healing journey, the Healing Webinar is a 4.5-hour interactive and educational virtual experience for women who were sexually abused as children or teens.
The webinar is led by a clinical therapist who specializes in trauma recovery. It will provide a safe and supportive online environment for participants to learn about the impacts of trauma as well as healing tools to apply in everyday life. Participants who attend the Healing Webinar are still welcome to apply to attend the Saprea Retreat if they wish to do so. Saprea Retreat is our 4-day in-person experience followed by a self-guided online course.
The Healing Webinar will be offered on the following upcoming dates:
• Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 11:00 AM—3:30 PM EST
• Friday, September 9, 2022 from 10:00 AM—2:30 PM EST

6 weeks ago we Had a vision. We projected our vision to our teams and the world. Within 30 days an army of people in our community, our y sisters, and our family came together & showed up to raise money for survivors of childhood sexual abuse. We had people working around the clock with us to pull this together. Our goal was $10,000 and I thought Tiffany was crazy for setting that goal with 30 days to plan. Well it’s official last night after totaling everything up including all the cash, we were $41 short to $10,000, her husband handed her $41 in cash. GUESS WHAT? We hit $10,000!!!!! HOWS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE!!!!!! And guess what else? We are still waiting on one more donation of an unknown amount on Tuesday!!!!!! 😱😱😱😱 WE DID IT! We all did it! Huge thank you to our sponsors too!
We had over 40 volunteers helping running it! We had 93 people register for the walk in advance! And people stopping to register yesterday who were just passing through!!!!!! We had the biggest & yummiest bake sale I’ve ever seen in my life!!!! We had raffle baskets galore! Silent auction baskets! Split the pot! A whole area for kids: Cookie Painting! Face Painting! Hair Tinsel! Tattoos! Ducky Picking! Scavenger Hunt!
We had the best apples to apples signature drink ever and everything! IT WAS PERFECT!
I know we all were exhausted! But exhausted in the most amazing way possible! This was our first walk! We are so excited for our walk next year!! Next years walk we will have 6 months to plan! So if you think this was awesome, JUST WAIT!

Today we tested out this amazing drink! It can be served hott or cold and it’s like a spiked spice cider with a caramel rim - So GOOD 💜!
Make sure if you drink, to order our special Apples to Apples during the event.
This will be a family friendly event with food trucks, raffle baskets, and kids activities! We cannot wait to see you!!!!

We need your help once more!!!!!!!!
Our Walk To Defend is just a short 4 Days Away! We are so excited! It’s taken an army to get this far, and we are beyond grateful for the out pouring of support!

If you know anyone who donates baskets PLEASE TAG THEM BELOW! They can be any themed basket! Any business basket! Include extra business cards for us to put in the registration packets if you a business!! We are raising money to send survivors of childhood sexual abuse to a 4 day retreat to receive healing! We are creating awareness of childhood sexual abuse so we can put an end to the awful statistic of 1 in 4 kids will be sexually abused before the age of 18!
We also have some Cincinnati themed baskets we are looking to add things to like: Skyline Chili, Goldstar, Bengals, Reds, etc!
We also are building a Christmas Themed Basket: so candles, blankets, etc as well!
