Most of us don't get dramatic callings.
We get gardens to w**d, animals to feed, meals to cook.
Some even have children to raise.
The world rarely applauds these things.
But that doesn't make them small.
Faithfulness often looks like ordinary people caring well for the piece of earth and the people God has entrusted to them.

We tend to remember the dramatic moments.
The answered prayer, or the personal breakthrough.
The season when it all came together.
But many of us are living somewhere else entirely.
We're caring for aging parents.
Raising children.
Working long days.
Carrying burdens we'd never choose for ourselves.
And sometimes the victory isn't dramatic at all.
Sometimes it's simply making it through another day with faith intact.
The beautiful thing is that God's presence isn't reserved for the mountaintop moments. He meets us in the ordinary days, too.
