Join Us For Our 7th Annual Keweenaw Clean-Up And Community Picnic!

🗓️ Saturday, May 16

ℹ️ Everyone is welcome; together we’ll focus on cleaning up trails, parks, beaches, and road sides in Keweenaw County.

➡️ Start at your preferred location, or check in at the KORC tent in Copper Harbor and we’ll set you up with a location to clean. (9AM - 12PM)

➡️ Bring your trash to Copper Harbor, and KORC will take care of disposal. (12-1PM)

After the Clean-Up:

➡️ Gather for a Community Picnic and raffle in the Donny Kilpela Memorial Park in Copper Harbor. (12PM)

🧺 Food provided by The Mariner North.

🎟️ Raffle prizes donated by local businesses and clubs.

Hundreds of people have participated in the Keweenaw Clean-Up over the years, and removed thousands of pounds of trash. Let’s do even more on May 16!

KORC appreciates all of the individuals, families, clubs, organizations, and businesses who generously donate time, equipment, food, drinks, supplies, and raffle prizes that make this event possible. Your community spirit and volunteer action continue to keep the Keweenaw clean!

Join us in the greenhouse for our spring season opener on Saturday May 2nd from 9am-2pm! Shop our variety of sustainably grown veggie and floral starts. While perusing plants, let your ears devour the delicious musical stylings of Bryan Drewyor of One Human Band from 11am-1pm. All day long you can purchase sweet and savory morsels to fill your belly from Grace Methodist Church of Norway. lynne.lillge will have a paper floral booth for kids (and those who are kids at heart) to explore their creativity by making paper floral bouquets. Local vendors will be set up selling their handmade wares (Salt and alight Organic, Eva Bees Lotion Co., Soil’s Bounty)-a perfect opportunity to take care of Mother’s Day gifts 😉 It’s gonna be a fun filled day and we can’t wait to see you!
