Back to school season is coming, and now is the time to start building the routine.
Sleep, hydration, warm ups, strength, mobility, and recovery all play a role in how athletes feel and perform once practices and games pick back up.
Strong seasons don’t start on day one of practice. They start with the habits you build before you get there.

Built on structure.
At AMP, we do not just chase numbers.
The goal is not simply to lift more, move faster, or get through a workout. The goal is to build better athletes through movement quality, coaching, and intentional progressions.
We coach movement patterns.
We create better habits.
We teach athletes how to make adjustments.
Then we build strength, speed, and power on top of that foundation.
Because when training has structure behind it, athletes are not just working hard.
They are working with purpose.

Coach Tip of the Day: speed starts before the sprint.
Getting faster is not just about moving your feet quicker. It starts with your setup, your reaction, and how much power you can create in that first movement.
Athletes should focus on a strong stance, staying loaded through the balls of their feet, keeping their core engaged, and reacting with purpose. A better starting position leads to a faster first step, and a faster first step can change the entire play.
Speed is trained. Details matter.
