🌞🌞These last few weeks I spent back home in MI-away from my phone as much as I could.
I needed a break from stimulation. I needed clarity. I needed space.
Sometimes life gets so cluttered with all of the “should’s and needs” on my list that I forget why I’m actually alive. To live, feel, and enjoy every moment that I can. Connection means so much to me in every aspect of my life, especially my work.
I was able to reconnect with what I want for myself and my business from taking time away. That is to be heard, seen, and help others grow and heal (especially when it comes to food).

🌞 HAPPY FRIDAY 🌞
I encourage you to read this quote over and over until it really sinks in. Think of all the ways it may apply to your life, and then start to change it.
I can’t tell you all the ways that I unknowingly lived my life this way for too many years. One of the biggest ways this applied to my life was with my physical looks, and with my friends and family.
- If I look skinny, toned, and constantly diet/ watch what I eat, people will think I am healthy, that I have self control, or that I have it together.

- If I don’t wear ripped jeans, dress modestly, and avoid shades of pink, I will be respected more.

- If I hide my goofy-ness, my laughing, and don’t let loose, people will take me seriously.
Sounds awful, right? It was. The biggest thing I am thankful for that came out of this journey is getting to know the REAL me, including all the flaws and ways I am different. I learned to love me as I am, and that I don’t need to change or control myself to make others happy.
You’re allowed to leave old versions of yourself behind. You’re allowed to eat how you want and wear what you want. You’re allowed to take care of yourself. You’re allowed to be you and not care about what others think. YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH.
Stop making your health about how other people view you, especially from the outside. How do you actually want to feel?
