SRMFA Case Study
Equipment: Toshiba / 1000 HP / 4160 VAC / 885 RPM

Brandon & Clark field service technicians were dispatched to diagnose a motor exhibiting excessive vibration. An on-site inspection revealed corrosion indicative of long term H2S exposure. An SRMFA test was ordered to corroborate the visual evidence and to provide a detailed analysis of the rotor condition.

Breathing New Life into Old Equipment.
ETL completed the retrofitting of Brandon and Clark, Inc, Fort Worth's motor test lab.

The original 1970 Westinghouse was still operational but lacked the user features and safety requirements that Brandon and Clark desired. So, over the course of 4-months, we followed the process of: discovery, assessment, engineering, implementation and now support of a redesigned test lab that offers all the enhanced safety and reporting capabilities desired by our customer.
