Today the color *white* was calling out to me!

In Tibetan Ta**ra the color white is associated with the Space Element located in the heart chakra in the center of the chest. We can consciously engage, enliven and balance this energetic force inside of us through tangible connections with the natural world:
- noticing spaciousness itself
- our sense of sound or
- the color white

Space Element is particularly beneficial for enlivening our sense of peacefulness. I find I need to tap into this energy regularly to meet my needs for resilience in this world. (I bet you can relate.)

Where do you connect with space in the natural world? Perhaps the wide open sky, or the nooks and crannies in tree bark, or white blossoms, or animals, birdsong, the sound of your breath, or...

Hello lovelies! I'm happy to say that this event is now full. Ken and I plan to offer another Level One later in the year as well as some advanced study Tibetan Ta**ra courses for those of you who have taken Level One.

I don’t know about you, but for me most of the hubbub about Earth Day feels like a fragile lifeline to something that I know deep inside could feel so much more robust, beautiful and powerful. 💫

What I really wish Earth Day would feel like is a heart-felt devotional to the elements that I love so much - fire, earth, space, air, water - and honoring the connections I feel to them.

For me, Tibetan 5 Element Ta**ra provides concrete daily practices I can use to attune to these elements around me and inside me, an experience that feels uniquely blissful!

This morning as I walked in the woods I felt particularly drawn to the ways the light shimmers through the fresh green leaves of spring and how that shimmering light also lights me up from the inside.

And as I walked I quietly chanted the mantras associated with each of the elements like a sweet prayer calling them to me: ram, lam, vam, yam, mam - a meditation called “Running the Elements.”

I love teaching these beautiful practices to participants at workshops and clients I see in my practice, which is why I’m co-facilitating an introductory course in Tibetan 5 Element Ta**ra with Ken Kleiber on May 9th.
