On this World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, we’re reflecting on our recent trip to Peru, where we had the honor of meeting with dedicated officials at the U.S. Embassy in Lima and HSI. Together, we discussed collaborative efforts to combat child trafficking and protect the most vulnerable.

Globally, one in three victims of human trafficking is a child, and the majority of these trafficked children are girls.
