๐ง๐ฅ Creamy Pepper Jack Chicken & Sausage Pasta Skillet
The last time I made this Creamy Pepper Jack Chicken & Sausage Pasta Skillet, my son said, โThis is like mac and cheese but grown upโand way better!โ Itโs creamy, cheesy, smoky from the sausage, and just the right amount of spicy.
Ingredients
๐ 2 chicken breasts, diced
๐ญ 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
๐ง
1 small onion, diced
๐ง 3 cloves garlic, minced
๐ถ๏ธ 1 red bell pepper, chopped
๐ง 2 tbsp butter
๐ 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
๐ฅฃ 2 cups chicken broth
๐ฅ 1 cup heavy cream (or half & half)
๐ง 2 cups shredded Pepper Jack cheese
๐ฟ 1 tsp Italian seasoning
๐ง Salt & black pepper, to taste
๐ฑ Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
Add sausage to the skillet and cook until lightly browned. Stir in onion, garlic, and bell pepper; sautรฉ until softened.
Pour in broth and cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
Stir in cooked pasta and chicken, then add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Remove from heat and stir in shredded Pepper Jack cheese until melted and creamy.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Canadian Date Squares (Matrimonial Cake) ๐๐พ
Ingredients ๐
Date Filling:
๐ด 2 cups chopped dates (Medjool or Deglet Noor work well)
๐ง 1 cup water
๐ฌ 1/4 cup brown sugar
๐ฟ 1 tsp vanilla extract
๐ง Pinch of salt
Oat Crumble:
๐พ 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
๐ฐ 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
๐ฌ 1 cup brown sugar
๐ง 1/2 tsp baking soda
๐ง 1/4 tsp salt
๐ง 3/4 cup butter, melted
Instructions ๐ฉโ๐ณ
Make filling: In a saucepan, simmer dates, water, and brown sugar over medium heat until soft and thick (about 10 minutes). Stir in vanilla and salt. Let cool.
Prepare oat mixture: In a bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
Assemble: Press half the oat mixture firmly into a greased 8x8-inch pan. Spread cooled date filling over it. Sprinkle remaining oat mixture on top, pressing lightly.
Bake: At 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) for 25โ30 minutes, until golden brown.
Cool & cut: Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Ingredients
๐ 8 slices thick bread (brioche or challah works best)
๐ฅ 4 large eggs
๐ 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
๐ฅ 1 cup milk (or half & half for creaminess)
๐ฌ 1/4 cup brown sugar
๐ฅ 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice (or cinnamon + nutmeg mix)
๐ฅ 1 tsp vanilla extract
๐ง Butter (for frying)
Optional toppings:
๐ Maple syrup
๐ฆ Whipped cream
๐ซ Mini chocolate chips or pecans

Instructions

Last fall, I made these Pumpkin Spice French Toast Sticks for my kids on a chilly Saturday morning. They were dunking them in syrup like fries and giggling the whole timeโdefinitely a new family favorite!
Ingredients
๐ 6 slices thick bread (brioche or Texas toast works best)
๐ฅ 3 large eggs
๐ฅ 1/2 cup milk (or half & half for richness)
๐ 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
๐ฌ 2 tbsp brown sugar
๐ฅ 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice (or cinnamon + nutmeg)
๐ฅ 1 tsp vanilla extract

For coating:
๐ญ 1/4 cup granulated sugar
๐ฅ 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Instructions

I made these Pumpkin Pie Crescent Rolls for my kids last October, and they couldnโt stop grabbing them straight from the baking tray. They said it was like eating โpumpkin pie in a blanket!โ ๐ฅฐ
Ingredients
๐ฅ 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
๐ 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
๐ฌ 2 tbsp brown sugar
๐ฅ 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice (or cinnamon + nutmeg mix)
๐ฅ 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened (optional, for extra creaminess)
๐ง 2 tbsp melted butter
๐ญ 2 tbsp granulated sugar + 1 tsp cinnamon (for sprinkling)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix filling: Stir together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and cream cheese (if using).
Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.

The first time I served this Cotton Candy Maple Bacon Cheesecake, my friends didnโt know whether to laugh or cheerโit looks whimsical, but one bite and they were hooked! The salty-sweet combo of candied bacon with maple cheesecake, topped with fluffy cotton candy, is pure carnival magic.
Ingredients
For the crust:
๐ช 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
๐ง 1/2 cup butter, melted
๐ฌ 2 tbsp brown sugar
For the filling:
๐ง 24 oz (3 packages) cream cheese, softened
๐ฌ 1 cup brown sugar
๐ 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
๐ฅ 3 large eggs
๐ฅ 1/2 cup sour cream
๐ฅ 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the toppings:
๐ฅ 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and candied with brown sugar
๐ญ Fluffy cotton candy (pink or blue for that fair vibe)
๐ Extra maple syrup for drizzling
Instructions
Prepare crust: Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and brown sugar. Press into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan. Chill.

Ingredients
๐ง 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
๐ฌ 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
๐ฅ 2 large eggs
๐ฅ 2 tsp vanilla extract
๐พ 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
๐ 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
๐ฅ 1 tsp baking soda
๐ฅ 1/2 tsp baking powder
๐ง 1/2 tsp salt
๐ฐ 1 cup chopped pecans (toasted for extra flavor)
๐ซ Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips or raisins for variety
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Cream butter & sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
Add eggs & vanilla and beat until smooth.
Mix dry ingredients (oats, flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt) in a separate bowl.
Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. Fold in chopped pecans (and chocolate chips or raisins if using).

๐ฐ 1 box vanilla or white cake mix
