ALANIZ Racing Heads

Hello Gearheads and Happy Sunday. A German Vintage cylinder head from the 60’s came in for some repair work. Water jackets were badly corroded. The cylinder head was ready for the scrap pile. These are very rare heads and no longer in production and what you can find for sale will give you a heart attack price wise. Here is how ALANIZ Racing Heads gave this cylinder head a second chance. Never a hack job. Quality work and craftsmanship. How can ALANIZ Racing Heads help you?

Hello Gearheads. HONDA VS. THE WORLD continues on this Formula 1 Sunday Brazil. Stock Honda S2000 vs. BMW CNC ported E30 race head used in BTCC (British Touring Car Championship 1986-1991 era 2Liters) See comments for porting/chamber/valve pictures. The E30 intake flow is identical to the stock S2000 head from .050” to .300” valve lift. The S2000 then comes to life at .300”-.500” valve lift. An S2000 will see about .485” valve lift, Japanese racing camshafts. FYI the stock S2000 has 36mm intake valves. The BMW E30 race head has 38.5mm intake valves and is CNC Ported. This is Flowbench testing I did 20 years ago. When it comes to porting/modifying 4 valve per cylinder heads, hundreds of hours on the Flowbench equals knowledge and knowledge is power. Hello Gearheads. Let’s give you something to talk about this Sunday afternoon. HONDA VS. THE WORLD on my Superflow Flowbench. Honda B16 vs. Nissan RB26. How do they compare in stock trim? Over 25 years of Flowbench testing all kinds of import cylinder heads. Flowbench Testing and Testing and more testing has helped broaden my knowledge of how air flows through a cylinder head, what works, what doesn’t and how it equates to real Horsepower numbers. HONDA, TOYOTA, NISSAN, DATSUN, MITSUBISHI, MAZDA, ALFA-ROMEO, BMW and more. Lots of Flow testing data coming to give you something to talk about. Knowledge is Power. In the Honda Racing game since 1993. How Can ALANIZ Racing Heads help you?

Hello Gearheads. Sunday school is in session. K20 PRB vs. NSX C32 cylinder heads on my Superflow Flowbench. Which one flows more or better yet, which one has a better flow curve for your camshaft lift? Just letting you know the Acura NSX has a max lift of .390” with lash set on the big lobe. Making the NSX cylinder head breath well in the .500"-.700" valve lift makes no sense. Flow numbers may seem awesome to brag about at higher valve lifts but the NSX cylinder head will never operate in that valve lift range. Having a Flowbench helps me make improvements on targeted valve lift areas. Knowledge is Power. More Flowbench Test Data coming. How can ALANIZ Racing Heads help you?

Hello Gearheads. Work from 3/12/19. A badly damaged cylinder head came through for a repair. One completely blown out chamber with all the others in bad shape from shrapnel. These kind of repairs are time consuming. No clean, shiny and grease free aluminum to work or weld here. After the repair there were some minor blemishes and a bit of porosity but overall I was happy with the repair, Pentroof chamber reshape and porting upgrades. How can ALANIZ Racing Heads help you?
