First tomato of the year!

This breed of tomatoes is called “Sart Roloise”. The dark purple is the result of anthocyanins, the same thing that makes blueberries blue! They are excellent antioxidants, and stunning in the garden.

I love the way the purple offsets the yellow, so excited to try this one!
