“Be more like Jesus” might be the most exhausting thing religion ever handed us. 😮‍💨

Not because it’s wrong to look to Him — but because the framing puts you at the center of the effort. And you were never meant to carry that.

Colossians 3:4 doesn’t say Jesus is your standard. It says He is your life. And you can’t imitate what you already are — you can only learn to express it.

The gap between what you believe and how you actually live isn’t a willpower problem. It’s an identity problem.

When you know what’s already in you — the reactions change. The patience isn’t forced. The peace isn’t performed.

That’s not religion. That’s union.
