I’ve been through A LOT of tough times and have suffered through some MAJOR losses in my life. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
There were many times where I honestly wasn’t sure if things could ever be OK again. For me this was especially true after losing a loved one too soon. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
But, reading this quote, reminded me of the journey between where I’ve been and where I am today. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
It took me years to properly grieve and walk through certain things and in the moment it felt like the heartache would never end. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
But with time, love, patience and care, it eventually did and I’ve been able to replace the disappointment, trauma and loss with forgiveness, love, and a deeper understanding and respect for life. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
So even though this might seem like a simple, silly quote, those of us who’ve made it through to the other side of some really hard s*%t, know how profound of an understanding this actually is.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Whatever it is you may be going through today, remind yourself that it’s not the end of the story.⁠⠀
