Today I technical directed an 8hr training for birth workers/doulas with
And here’s why..

- Pregnant people are an at-risk population.
- 25-74% describe their birth as traumatic.
- 26% are diagnosed with PTSD.
- 1/3 of NORMAL pregnancies result in c-sections
These stats are shocking…but real.

Something that asks in the training, “What if every person that gives birth walks out physically stable and emotionally well?”

I believe that birth workers are instrumental in changing these statistics, and this training teaches how to work alongside doctors, fill in the knowledge gap, and be your advocate.

We have a long way to go, but it starts with one person making a change and offering a different perspective that could change the outcome of someone’s birth.
