She is 5-8 yrs old, and an Australian cattle dog mix. She’s great with people, has spent a lot of time around young children and is great with them. She’s not good with cats and while she can get along with dogs, she’s selective. We are looking for a foster home with no other pets for now, so she can have a place with no triggers to unwind.

Hi my name is Daisy and I’m one of the sweetest pit bulls you’ll ever meet. I have a big heart and lots of love to share. I’ve been moved around a lot recently so I need a long term place to stay that feels stable, doesn’t have other dogs and is generally a more quiet environment. I know to stay off furniture, am potty trained (when you keep me on a schedule) and will be a good guard to your house. I enjoy belly rubs, watching TV, and working from home with my fosters. I’m still learning to walk on a leash. I do best walking in large parks where I can avoid other animals. I’m a strong girl so I require someone with a little bit of muscle to handle me when I walk. My current foster person is pretty petite but she does just fine walking me around and holding me back if I get triggered. My triggers are dogs, loud noises (skateboards, motorcycles, etc.). I typically respond to triggers by barking, growling, and trying to lung at the threat but I can be calmed back into my normal behavior by my care giver with some time and care. I’m a very very smart dog and will likely be able to work through my triggers and be better with other animals if someone can put the time and effort into working with me. I love laying on peoples feet and showing you how loving I can be 🧡. I’m really eager to find a place I can call my forever home.
