🥈 CC DEVILS COFFMAN 12U FINISH RUNNER-UP IN THE GOLD BRACKET! 🥈

What a weekend in Seaside at the Sock Monkey Tournament! Out of 18 talented teams, the CC Devils battled their way to a 2nd Place finish in the Gold Bracket, showing toughness, resilience, and heart every step of the way.

The Devils came out swinging and never looked back, exploding for eight runs in the opening inning to take control early. Addi E was lights out in the circle, striking out two and allowing no hits as the Devils cruised into the semifinals with a dominant shutout victory.

The Devils jumped on LYNX early and held on through a late rally to punch their ticket to the championship game.

Emersen S got the offense rolling with an RBI single, while Piper D delivered a big two-run double in the first inning. Willow H continued her strong tournament with two RBIs, helping provide the difference on the scoreboard.

Brooklyn M was outstanding in the circle, going the distance while striking out seven. When the pressure was highest, the Devils answered, securing a hard-fought one-run victory and a trip to the championship.

The championship game was everything you could ask for and more.

The Devils traded punches with a very talented Showtime squad in an action-packed battle that went to an international tiebreaker. After six intense innings, neither team could pull away.

Emersen S, KaElla P, and Brooklyn M each collected two hits. Willow H delivered a clutch game-tying double, while Sage C, Emersen, Willow, and Katelynn H all drove in runs. Avery D was aggressive on the bases with two steals.

With runners automatically starting on second and third in the tiebreaker, the championship ultimately came down to a walk-off hit in a game that could have gone either way.

While the final score didn’t fall our way, this team showed exactly who they are—fighters.

What a day for the CC Devils in Seaside! The girls battled through two tough pool play games and finished as the #1 team in our pool, earning a spot in the GOLD BRACKET on Sunday! 🥇💙❤️

⚾ GAME 1: CC Devils 6 - Future Fish 6

The Devils showed incredible grit and determination, battling back multiple times against a strong Future Fish squad. After trailing early, our offense came alive late with clutch hits from Addisyn C, Sage C, KaElla P, and Piper D to erase deficits and secure the tie.

The bats stayed hot all game as the Devils racked up 13 hits. Emersen S led the charge with three hits, while Piper D, KaElla P, and Willow H all collected multiple hits. In the circle, Addisyn C and Addi E combined for nine strikeouts, keeping us within striking distance all game long.

⚾ GAME 2: CC Devils 15 - Eugene Lightning Blue 1

The Devils came out swinging and never looked back! The offense exploded for 15 runs on 11 hits in a complete team effort.

Addi E had a huge game at the plate, driving in three runs while collecting two hits. Sage C and KaElla P also added multi-hit performances. The team showed patience with eight walks, aggressive baserunning with six stolen bases, and even turned a double play defensively.

Brooklyn M was dominant in the circle, tossing three scoreless innings with five strikeouts, while the defense backed her up all game long.

What a weekend for our CC Devils Coffman 12U team!

This group went 5-0 on the weekend and showed exactly what we’ve been working toward all season. Every player contributed, every player competed, and every player played for each other.

We opened pool play on Saturday with a 6-1 victory behind an outstanding performance from Brooklyn M, who recorded 11 strikeouts in the circle. KaElla P and Emersen S led the offense, while our team pressure on the bases helped set the tone for the entire weekend.

In game two, Addi E stepped into the circle and matched that intensity with 11 strikeouts of her own as we battled to a 4-3 win over Big Dawgs Elite. Big hits from Willow H, Brooklyn M, and KaElla P helped us stay undefeated heading into bracket play.

Sunday was all about finishing the job.

KaElla had a huge game against NW Cure, going 3-for-3 with a single, double, and triple while helping lead us to a 9-3 victory. Willow drove in three runs, and Emersen added an inside-the-park home run as our offense continued to roll.

In the semifinals, we earned an 11-0 win over Siskiyou JAXX. KaElla drove in three runs, Addisyn C delivered a strong performance in the circle, and the entire lineup contributed to an explosive offensive effort.

The championship game was a true test. After falling behind early, these girls never blinked. They stayed focused, trusted each other, and erupted for seven runs to secure a 7-3 championship victory. We finished with 13 hits in the title game, led by Emersen S, KaElla P, and Brooklyn M. Emersen and KaElla each drove in two runs in the biggest game of the weekend.
